Our Family Story
At the heart of Audio Excellence is a story rooted in courage, faith, and unwavering determination. That story begins with one incredible woman: Sadiah Baker—our mother, our guiding light, and the true legacy behind our success. Without her, none of this would be possible.
In 1973, Sadiah immigrated to the United States with just a dollar and a dream. The odds were stacked against her, but she never let that stop her. Fueled by faith in God and a relentless drive for a better future, she built a life from the ground up—one marked by strength, sacrifice, and love.
To everyone who knew her, she was “Mom.” Not just to us, but to countless others whose lives she touched. An entrepreneur, a mother, a grandmother—Sadiah Baker was a force of nature and the heart of our family.
She is the reason Audio Excellence exists. Her strength and dedication laid the foundation—not just for our company, but for a family grounded in service. Her influence ensured that all fourteen of her grandchildren are now educated and serving honorably in the armed forces and law enforcement.
Her legacy lives on in every sound system installation we complete, and every vehicle we bring to life through audio.
We are honored to share her story—a memoir of persistence, hard work, faith, and the unshakable belief that anything is possible.
Our Story
The Audio Excellence Story
The first Audio Excellence location opened in Longwood in 1979. Ten years later, we expanded and have since grown to three locations in the central Florida area – Oviedo, east Orlando, and west Orlando, as well as one location in South Beach and another in Atlanta, Georgia. To this day, we are still operated by the same first generation of our family that immigrated to the United States in 1973. Since then, our family has grown to include the 89 employees we staff!
Because we are a family owned and operated business, family and community are both very important to us! We only want the absolute best for our customers and our community.
